Nancy Beale

As a healthcare professional for more than 37 years, Nancy Beale's experience spans clinical operations, vendor perspective, consulting, and IT operations.  Her work is nationally recognized and award-winning, recognized as the 2019 HIMSS-ANI Nursing Informatics Leader of the Year.  In her current role, Nancy serves as the Chief Nurse Executive/Chief Nursing Informatics Officer for a remote care monitoring company.  Her executive experience includes the leadership of an award award-winning team at a leading Academic Health System where she led a team to achieve HIMSS 6, HIMSS 7, HIMSS Davies Award, and several innovation partnerships.  As an IT executive, she partners with executives to develop and execute clinical IT strategy, as well as the strategy to support merger and acquisition activity. Her work includes leadership in forming offshore partnerships, as well as oversight of onshore clinical IT implementation, strategy, and operations.  In her role as vice president, Nancy provided leadership for the clinical systems team in the clinical IT implementation of a new and fully digital hospital in Manhattan. Nancy serves in multiple national and international volunteer roles, including co-chair of the Alliance for Nursing Informatics, past co-chair MNRS Health Systems Policy and Informatics, past chair HIMSS Nursing Informatics, member of AMIA-NIWG, and the Nursing Knowledge Big Data Science Policy and Advocacy Workgroup.
